We just had a wonderful stay the Pomegranate. The decor is truly something to be seen, and we enjoyed seeing all of the artwork throughout the house. There's a ton of art that catches the eye!
We stayed in room number six and had a quite comfortable stay. The bed was super comfortable (but very, very high off the ground, so if you're short, you might want to opt for another room) and we had a great night's sleep. The inn was very quiet throughout our stay. The best part was breakfast! It was so delicious and filled us up until well into the evening. What a treat!
Just to leave some constructive criticism... The room we stayed in could use some upgrades, particularly in the bathroom. There was quite a bit of wear on the molding and trim and some water damage by the tub. It's an old house, so you can expect some of that, but a little paint and restoration could really go a long way. Also, the grout on the floor tiles could use a deep clean, and the sink had a major crack in the basin. One other thing to note: we didn't have hardly any water pressure and the water never really got hot. One improvement would definitely be the toilet paper and tissues; both were like sand paper. When paying a decent price for a B&B, something other than budget toilet paper just seems right :)
We will definitely be back again, as we loved the ambiance, the location (about a 20 minute walk into the Old Port), and the breakfast.
Room Tip: We poked our heads into a few open rooms, and from the looks of them, I'd recommend rooms 3 and...
