I stayed here while I was on a business trip. I specifically chose to stay in Ogunquit because I heard it was wonderful and I had a ticket to the Ogunquit Playhouse to see Ms. Saigon. Upon arriving at the Pink Blossom Resort I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist who gave me my key and showed me where my room was. She recommended I walk the Marginal Trail, which is a famous paved walkway along the ocean. It runs about 1 ¼ miles long and drops you off in the little port of Perkins Cove. This was a truly majestic walk.
The first thing I noticed upon entering my room was the overwhelming smell of cleansing solution, maybe lemony, I couldn’t tell exactly but I didn’t like it. Reminded me of the stuff they spray in rental cars to get rid of the smoky smell. Aside from the smell which I did get used to; the room was very nice. The queen size bed was very comfy and the sheets and blankets were soft and refreshing. They provided lots of towels which was good for putting on the cold tile floor in the kitchen leading to the bathroom. The room also had a sofa, coffee table, dining table, little efficiency kitchen which I had no use for but would be great when staying here for a few days. The property looked very nice with an outdoor pool and nice seating area. The weather was wonderfully crispy cool on this early October day.
Would I stay here again? Probably not, because there are so many wonderful places to stay in Ogunquit and I would want to try another place for the experience. I would however recommend staying here, I got a good deal on Hotels.com.
