What a place!!! This was our first time to Ogonquit and what a place to stay! We found the Admiral's Inn quite easily with directions provided on the website. We stayed two nights in the "Fireplace Room". Although it was called a room, it actually had two rooms. There was a smallish living room with tv and dorm size refrigerator and couch, end tables and cofffee table.
The lighting was by table lamps giving a cozier feel to the room. The second room was a large bedroom complete with a corner gas fireplace, and a queen bed with a frame for mosquito netting (no netting) and beautiful dresser.
The Inn seems to be doing a great job at being "green". The Manager, named Andy, gave us great tips on where to go for dinner (Angelina's), lunch and things to do. They serve a small breakfast of juices, coffee, teas and baked goods. It would have been nice to have had a few other choices such as cereal, toast and some fruit. Yet the baked goods were awesome!
Overall, YOU MUST TRY THIS PLACE!!!!!! You won't be sorry!
OH, did I mention that the room came with an Apple I Pad for our use!!! What more could anyone ask for?
