We spent a weekend at Seacastles last month. From reservations to checkout, the staff is thoroughly professional. Our studio rental was immaculate and comfortable. It was so nice to park the car and walk everywhere. Ogunquit's famous traffic was much in evidence that weekend and it was so convenient to be on foot. We're planning another visit.

A couple of cautions: the galley kitchen has no dishwasher and there's a fee if the hotel does your dishes. Not that either of those is a big deal but it was a surprise at a place that labels itself a resort.

The towels in the bathroom were skimpy, not the first quality you'd expect at a resort. There was only one towel for the kitchen area and no paper towels.

We stayed here in Sept. We have been going to Maine for 17 years and usually stay in Wells but wanted a change of pace and the ability to walk to beach, shopping etc. Love the little studio we were in. Everything in this place is very clean. Our room was spotless as was the pool area. The staff was friendly. We are happy to have found a new "home away from home" and look forward to many more visit to the Seacastles. Oh, the price was great too! We had originally wanted to stay on the ocean side for the view...but the cost was way more than we wanted to spend....and it ended up being a very foggy weekend...we wouldn't have see the ocean anyway!

Stayed @ Sea Castles for the first time Labor Day weekend. Celebrated my Mother's 84TH birthday with family. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Atmosphere is relaxing and appreciated that it was more of an older crowd.
The views from our room were amazing and the accomodations great! Have stayed at many great places in Ogunquit, but will now consider this to be my favorite!

At the door step a ten minute walk to beach, town or an athletic run to Perkins Cove. Too tired from relaxing? Just take the trolley. No car needed.

Looking to explore the area? A jaunty fifteen minute ride south on Shore Road puts you at Cape Neddick Lobster Pound, call for reservations, and enjoy a tranquil western view of sea marsh and tidal river. Further south discover the Yorks and beaches and swing north on Route 1 for a quicker return to the Seacastles.

Make one evening available for the Ogunquit Lobster Pound, just north on Route 1, and pick your new lobster buddy right from their lobster pools! When satiated an easy ride back to your hot tub spa will ease the guilt over your buddy's demise.

Return to the Seacastles year round! The value seasons are especially tasty in their savings, and many rooms have a kitchenette for handy brew-up and ‘calm me downs’ from all the relaxation, and guilt.
