Great location....we walked to the Lobster Pound for dinner and the Egg and I for breakfast. We had our wine on the lawn and watched the Atlantic at sunset. Fairly close to town. Rooms were clean, but without charm.

We stayed in the old hotel part of the dunes and were very pleased with our stay, The place knows how to stay charming with subtle updates to ensure they are staying with the times as well. We went in early October and loved everything about the location and look forward to staying here again in the future as the scenery is unbeatable and so close to the water and a fun adventure crossing over the dunes to get to the beach, The staff was friendly and inviting. The next time we stay we hope to rent a cottage with a kitchen and fireplace so we can enjoy more of the scenery the Dunes on the waterfront has to offer.

Quiet setting right in the midst of Ogunquit. There are multiple options for accommodations, we stayed in a hotel room that was right near the water. Room 23. It was very clean and bright with well maintained furnishings. I liked the touch of a single brew Keurig coffee maker. A small frig helped keep beverages cold. Each cottage or room had tables outside with umbrellas. I was impressed seeing a worker wipe off the morning dew from these chairs each morning. A pool was a nice touch as were the towels. There are row boats you can take to cross the river to get to the dunes during high tide, or walk across during low tide to get to the beach. The Ogunquit trolley stop is right at the end of the driveway as are a couple restaurants.

I've stayed here a number of times. I always come back because it's such a peaceful and quiet place to relax, with a wonderful nostelgic atmosphere. The grounds are situated right across from the ocean dunes, well beyond the busy street. I look forward to my yearly visits.
