Two friends and I just returned from our first shopping trip to Kittery and stayed at the Coachman Inn. Wonderful place for many reasons. Very convenient for shopping as it is right next to where the stores start which also makes it easy to find. Ladies at the front desk were very nice and helpful to recommend places to eat. It was very clean with a large room (we had 2 beds) and since we were on the ground floor, an outside entrance. Continental breakfast is included and tea, coffee and hot chocolate are always available at the front desk. Price is very reasonable. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

First of all I love flowers, so I was pleased with the view near the pool. We liked how the room was set up, furnishings etc., enough that we decided to stay two nights. A lot of things to see and do in the area! Anyone visiting would do well to stay at the Coachman Inn. Very clean, good prices!

This one our last stop on a 2 week road trip through Eastern Canada and the US. Outlet shopping in Kittery was the attraction here and I booked this motel because of its proximity to the shops. (It is just across the road from the first set of shops - Tommy) My family are not all shoppers so I knew they would like to relax at the pool while the rest of us had our fun at the outlets and no one had to drive too far to do so. We asked for 2 queen beds, if available and were obliged.We were so pleased to see the size of the room. We had two doors, one to the hallway for easy breakfast access and the other to the parking lot and pool. The staff were very friendly. There was free wifi, that we did have some trouble keeping connected, but each time, staff did a reset on their router and all was fine again. The rooms were very clean, and had everything we needed. Our son left his bear behind when we packed. We emailed when we got home, offfering to pay for the shipping to Canada, but they graciously sent the parcel free of charge. what a nice gesture!

Booked this hotel according to the AAA 3-star rating. Drove up and thought, "huh?" But although the outside is not impressive, the room was great! We had an upstairs king -- very roomy, very clean, very comfy. Don't let the outside fool you... Would certainly stay here again.
