“Idyllic rural B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 October 2011

This was a perfect position with fabulous views. Comfortable room with clean, modern bathroom & plenty of towels. We and our fellow guests chose to eat breakfast on the sun deck, in spite of the weather, to enjoy the peacful location and amazing views and Karen went to the trouble of drying off the tables and chairs and re-setting outside for us. The food was freshly prepared, delicious, and plentiful. The directions to Three Pines were good and Karen gave us lots of maps and information for our explorations; excellent position to reach Arcadia National Parks. The story of how they came to be here, living the way they do is interesting and inspirational. We loved this place and would definitely stay again.

“Wonderful little hideaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 July 2011

We stayed for two nights in the Three Pines. Tucked away on the coastline of Downeast Maine, it is far away form the bustling crowds of Bar Harbor yet still close enough for a day trip to the Schoodic peninsula or Mount Desert Island.

Home made breakfast is served on the lovely sun lit terrace, a lot of the produce served such as maple syrup, omelet and jams are home made and organic. Owners Karen and Ed were very helpful in helping us to organize day trips and activities. Our room (we got the upper one of overall two rooms) had a nice view of the adjacent Cove and was tastefully decorated. There a loads of reading books and also a kajak for those who want to go exploring.

We highy recommend this nice little B&B to everyone who looks for a little quiet hideaway in nature.

“Three Pines B&B is a Hidden Treasure Getaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 September 2010

Three Pines B&B is located in a secluded area with the most beautiful scenic view. The accomodations are excellent and very comfortable. The breakfasts are delicious and the huge portions will keep you going until dinner time! The owner is extremely helpful and goes out of their way to make you feel at home.

“We wanted to stay forever.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 September 2010

My sister, dog and I stayed two nights at this delightful bed & breakfast/small farm and we couldn't have asked for a more pleasant, perfect site. Breakfast was absolutely scrumptious. While sitting on the deck enjoying the breathtaking view and lovely weather, we had coffee, a melon cup, blueberry pancakes one day, the next raspberry muffins and scrambled eggs with broccoli and cheese.

Lola the dog and I enjoyed our morning walks along the trail to Tidal Falls and sitting on the beach. She was so welcomed that she stopped behaving as a guest and practically took the place over, much to my chagrin and Ms. Magoo's, the resident pug puppy, detriment.

Three Pines is a restful, laid back, natural, splendid vacation destination that I plan to return to.
