We stayed in a 'deluxe' motel room. There is nothing deluxe about the rooms. I have literally never seen toilet paper so thin. It was ridiculous. The bath towels were tiny, thin and old. The 'jacuzzi' is a small, standard tub with what looks to be a few jets drilled in the sides. It was too small and cramped to consider using. First floor room and it was loud - we could hear every moved by occupants of 2nd floor (which we has reserved but didn't get). Even at the modest rates, it wasn't a good value. We found 3 suspicious bugs on the walls and I hope to God they weren't bed bugs, but to be safe, everything we packed went into dryer on high heat when we got home. Yuck!

The motel sits on the bay overlooking Moosehead Lake. We were there just before the International Sea Plane Fly In. Since my husband is a pilot, he enjoyed watching the seaplanes fly in. We were on the second floor and had a balcony with a nice view. The room was a little small, but it was a motel room, so we expected that.

This motel on the lake is in a lovely location just outside of downtown Greenville. The rooms are very basic motel rooms - clean but no frills. The "deluxe" room has two queen beds, a jacuzzi tub, refrigerator, microwave and a deck overlooking a small portion of the lake. Unlike other reveiwers, I did not find the staff to be very friendly or helpful at all. We stayed at the end of the season so maybe they were just ready for the tourists to be gone. If we returned to the Greenville area, I would not rule out staying at this motel again, but I would look carefully at other available accommodations first.

This motel was unwilling to refund the deposit amount when we had to cancel for a medical emergency and were unable to travel.
