My wife and I had a wonderful one night stay at the Evergreen Lodge. Everything about this inn is well done. Janice was welcoming and wonderful providing both a wonderful place to stay and help in the local area.

We were excited to learn that one of the top moose viewing locations in Maine is less than a mile north on highway 15. We were able to view and photograph several moose even though our time was limited.

We wish we had allowed more time to stay. This was a perfect stop for us on our drive from the Maine Mid-Coast to Quebec City.

Janice & Hank are welcoming and FUN! The food is very good, the inn is spotless and the setting amongst the tall trees wonderful and quiet! Trail access makes snowmobiling easy. The woodstove was always glowing and the hospitality warm. Janice pays attention to the little things. The rooms are all very spacious and fun with the north woods themes.

This was our first bed and breakfast experience and it was wonderful. The owners were very warm and friendly, the room was nice and clean, and breakfast was great. They were very willing to recommend other things to do in the area as well as places to eat.

From the moment we arrived at this beautiful log cabin, we felt at home. Hank and Janice were wonderful company, offering great food and great conversation. A refreshingly down to earth B&B. The room was beautiful, comfortable and clean. There was a small coffeemaker and coffee & tea in our room. I felt like I was in my own home when I was sitting in one of the dens. The grounds are surrounded by woods and beautiful flower gardens, and the setting is very tranquil. They have lots of brochures and information on everything there is to do and see in the area as well as the menus from local restaurants. Janice is a great cook and very caring and helpful, making our moose safari reservations and restaurant reservations for the other guests. I was truly sad to leave Hank(he reminded me fondly of my dad) & Janice and the Evergreen Lodge.
