A warm welcome at the quick check-in for a big (king) bed in a clean, spacious room, clean bathroom; easy access to the Freeport shopping.
Wi-fi access easy to set up and worked well for the two night stay.
Breakfast room had good choice of juices, cereals, and yogurt with fruit also available. Didn't try the hot dishes so can't comment on them.
Both national and local papers available.

Stayed here in late December for an after Xmas road trip to Freeport and beyond. The hotel did not disappoint. Clean and spacious room. Very courteous and friendly front desk and custodial staff. Nicely decorated lobby. I accidentally left a signed copy of a book in my room and the staff managed to find it immediately and Fedex it home to me!
The only downside was the breakfast. Tons of kids making a real mess of it and they were out of several items - including one of the main hot items (looked to be sausage). No cream or milk near the coffee (just condensed Creamer packets). A fresh fruit salad would have been nice too - I have found this in several other Hampton Inns. We did arrive to breakfast on the later side (9:40) so this may be partly to blame - the breakfast, however, did not close until 10am.
In all, I would stay again for a quick overnight while in the Freeport area.

We are travelling further, and made this a way-point to do some shopping at the outlet stores. The hotel is clean and comfortable. I got a great rate by pre-purchasing online; Non-smoking with king bed. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable with free wi-fi access. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was quiet and well appointed.
Being off season, the local selection of restaurants was limited.

Our family goes to Freeport Maine every August and for the last two summers we have stayed at the Hampton Inn. Front desk staff were very nice and accommodating when we wanted to check in early or had questions. Rooms are clean, beds very comfortable and a great deal. You do need to drive downtown but it is very close and much more budget friendly and quieter than staying next to LL Bean. Our kids enjoy the indoor pool and breakfast buffet which was included in our rate. The hotel is always full in summer which is why the rates went up this year but still lower than downtown.

this was the time in freeport late a night as a walk-in guest not sure if this was the place for us but the staff were great it is nice to see friendly and that will go to make you at home
