“Very good visit”

This is in a great location. Not walking distance to the outlet stores, but just a mile away. Our room had a kingsize bed, fridge, microwave, and was spotless, if a bit crowded. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast bar has everything you expect at an Econolodge.... you won't start the day hungry. We'd stay again, as it was very good value for money.

“Comfortable, clean, and quiet!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 January 2012

We stayed at the Econolodge in Freeport during Christmas week. I was very impressed with the price, the location, and how quiet it was. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable! We really liked the convenient location for shopping too. The office staff was very pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend this motel. They serve you breakfast too...what more could you ask for at this affordable price?

“Very good value for Freeport”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 December 2011 via mobile

Good place to stay when shopping in Freeport. A bit far from the main village but only 5 min away by car. Simple, clean accomodations. Breakfast room is small and crowded though.

“Simple, Clean, Convenient”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 November 2011

We needed a place to crash for one night while exploring the area and this was a good choice. Nothing fancy, just a satisfying motel experience. The desk staff was impressive, they had noted my request for a quiet room and gave us the room right next to the office with no shared wall at the headboards. We had a great night's sleep. Would definitely return when on a budget!

“An excellent deal!”

We just wanted an affordable place to stay for one night in the Freeport/Brunswick area. I was discouraged to see so many reviews of chain lodgings citing dirt, mold, and even unclean linens. Equally disturbing were the number of places that submitted their own reviews to balance the negatives!

After two hours of searching, I gave up and booked here because the reviews were okay, and the price quite reasonable. What a nice surprise! The staff was very pleasant. Yes, the building was old, but it was well maintained. Our room was cheerful and very clean with very comfortable beds. But the biggest surprise was the silence. The parking lot was full, but we never heard a peep from any neighbors. When we next go back to Freeport, that's where we'll stay.
