We visited Brewster House for my husband's birthday. We don't get away very often and this was just the perfect place to do that. We had a day of shopping in Freeport and it was so nice to come "home" to a comfortable bed, beautiful surroundings and cozy fireplace in our room. The hosts are friendly and warm. Breakfast the next day was delicious and the conversation fun. We hope to visit again!

“Wonderful Bed and Breakfast”
We decided to go to Freeport Maine with another couple for joint birthday celebrations. We picked the Brewster House based on it's location and wonderful reviews. We were not disappointed!! Our bedroom and bathroom were comfortable, immaculate and well appointed. At night we sat in the living room, lit the fireplace and enjoyed a glass of wine.The next morning, we savored the delicious breakfast made by Ruth and Scott. It was far better than any breakfast we could have gotten in a restaurant. We all would highly recommed the Brewster House to anyone staying in the Freeport Maine area!

“Brewster House exceeded our expectations!”
We planned a ladies weekend in Freeport and decided to try out Brewster House Bed & Breakfast. Scott and Ruth are both wonderful. They accommodated the needs of each person in our group and gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation - - Azure Cafe. The breakfasts were the best I've EVER had at a B&B and in the evenings Ruth (who's an amazing cook and will probably be offering a cookbook soon) provided hot cider and snacks which we gobbled up. They did a terrific job. I would definitely go back.

“Annual Trip to Brewster House - gets better every year!!”
We have been coming to the Brewster House since it opened. An annual shopping trip for two couples, away from the kids for the weekend. Room Seven is our destination and we LOVE IT!!! Ruth and Scott are the third set of Innkeepers we have been staying with at the Brewster House, and it is like visiting family for the weekend. They leave us a "Welcome Home" note when we get there, which is usually after the doors have been locked for the night. The rooms are immaculate, beds are comfortable, and this year we had robes and slippers!!
We cannot say enough about the food. If you leave the breakfast table hungry it will be your own fault. Ruth prepares the most delicious breakfast, we have to get the recipes to bring home and share with our family.
We always book our room for the next year on Sunday morning before we leave, and then the countdown begins until we return for another great weekend. See you in 2012!
Room Tip: Two couples traveling together can easily share the suite. We usually gather in one room anyway.
