It is becoming increasingly difficult to find chain hotels that allow pets, so this place is a treat because it not only allows, but welcomes, your furry friend. From the bowl of bones in the lobby to the waste bags near the exercise area, your dog will feel at home. I especially appreciated that on checkin, the desk staff asked us to provide a contact number if our dog, if left unattended in the room, disturbed other guests. During our stay we saw a number of other guests with big dogs too (we have a German Shepherd) and both owners and dogs seemed relaxed and happy. I also want to give a shout-out to the front desk staff who handled a unique special request, during the holidays, with grace and ease. Although there are plenty of other places to stay in the area if you are traveling without pets, this is the only place we'll stay when we visit family with our dog (we have stayed here more than once).
