“Relaxing, Comfortable, and Worth it!”

My husband and I arrived at night in a snowstorm. Mark had called us on our way, which was very nice to see if he could make any dinner arrangements for us for when we arrived. After arriving the first impression of the Inn was comfort. I sat in the window seat of the front room watching the snow fall while my husband parked the car and Mark(the Inn keeper) took our bags to our room. The room was just lovely and I knew that our guest room would be too.
We stayed in the "Game Room". The room was beautiful, very large, lots of windows with window seats, quaint mini library, mini frig, microwave and winged back chairs next to a gas fireplace. The king size bed was very comfortable. I loved the largeness of the room because I could be sitting near the fire reading under the lamp and feeling like I was in my own little heaven while my husband could be sitting at the table with his paper or electric device and both of us enjoying the room in differant ways but at the same time. This room says "relax" and that we did. The morning sunlight in the windows is a massage to the soul. This would be a great room for the business person or writer because of the versatility the size of the room offers. The Inn is just a wonderful piece of history and Mark and Judith obviously love what they do because it shows in the care of the home, breakfast and genuine concern for your enjoyment and relaxation while you are there. Thank you to Mark & Judith .Looking forward to being a regular visitor. The Caseys

Thank you so much for the excellent review of your stay. The Game room is an amazing room. Its over 500 sq ft with loads of original features. The house was the home of former State Governor and Washington Senator Ralph Owen Brewster. The Game room was his games room. The walls are all original wood paneling with amazing detail. A great room for romantic times and families too. All my beds are very very comfortable and guests love them always getting a great nights sleep .. Once again thank you and come back again

Unfortunately I only had the time to spend one night at The Brewster Inn - however, I'm looking forward to my next visit! Regardless of my late arrival, I was warmly welcomed & bags escorted to my room allowing me to settle in for the evening. My room was found to be tidy, welcoming and comfortable; it was lovely to continue my travels with the nourishment of food for the body, heart and mind. Entitling the use of local facilities ie. gym, to guests is a generous idea that is gratefully acknowledged. Much appreciation is extended to Mark & Judith for their wonderful hospitality and recommendations.

Thank you for coming to stay at the Brewster Inn. The gym thats about 200 yds away is available for guest use at $5 a day and is open 24hrs so that guests get to use it at any time they want. I get many great comments on my beds and the excellent nights sleep that guests have everytime they stay. My carrying guest bags to their room on arrival is just part of the customer service i like to offer here at the Brewster Inn for every guest

The Brewster Inn is a quaint Gem in the nice little town of Dexter, Maine. My husband and I stayed in the honeymoon suite and the accomadations were excellent. There is so much history within the walls of this Inn and the room had an old world charm. Mark and Judith went above and beyond to fulfill our requests. I would highly recommend the Brewster Inn for any season that you may be traveling in.

“Great evening of R&R”

I took my fiance to the Brewster Inn to celebrate our anniversary while getting away from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives.

The Inn itself is beautiful and full of history, the innkeepers (Mark & Judith) provide a lovely history sheet in the room that allows you to become more acquainted with the inn.

The room (the Honeymoon Suite) was spacious yet cozy. The fireplace adds warmth as well as ambience. The whirlpool tub is fantastic to soak in and is definitely a great selling point for this room. One of my favorite parts of the room is the bookshelves that have a great variety of new and old books to peruse at your leisure. We both loved the overall atmosphere of the room.

Breakfast was delicious. Our daily "hot dish" was orange stuffed french toast. There were also breakfast staples offered (orange juice, milk, tea, coffee, bagels/toast, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, etc) so there is something for everyone to be had.

We will definitely be returning to Brewster Inn in the future.

Thanks for a wonderful stay.

“The Brewster Inn Elegant and Quaint.”

My husband Mark and i stayed at the Brewster Inn this weekend while visiting in Palmyra. We had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before, we were used to staying in upscale hotels but there wasn't any of those kind of hotels in that area so we decided to stay at The Brewster Inn. I was a little uneasy about staying in a bed and breakfast. When we met Mark and his wife Judith they assured us that our stay at there Inn would be a wonderful experiance and they were right. We stayed in the deluxe queen room on the first floor, the room was incredible with all of the history of years gone by. The enclosed porch/sunroom on the front of the house was warm and cozy, the livingroom was breath taking with all of the original character that this mansion has to offer. The room gave a sense of comfort with the nostalgic decor and warm colors. Breakfast was very good and the dinningroom atmosphere was warm and friendly, it was like having breakfast with friends and family. Mark and Judith have done an incredible job making all of their guests comfortable in a friendly but lavish atomsphere. I would like to thank Mark and Judith for making our first experiance at a bed and breakfast an unforgetable one. We will be staying at The Brewster Inn every time we are in Palmyra from now on and would encourage all travelers visiting this part of Maine to stay there also. Thanks again to Mark and Judith for a wonderful experiance. Mark and Lyn
