My husband and I arrived at night in a snowstorm. Mark had called us on our way, which was very nice to see if he could make any dinner arrangements for us for when we arrived. After arriving the first impression of the Inn was comfort. I sat in the window seat of the front room watching the snow fall while my husband parked the car and Mark(the Inn keeper) took our bags to our room. The room was just lovely and I knew that our guest room would be too.
We stayed in the "Game Room". The room was beautiful, very large, lots of windows with window seats, quaint mini library, mini frig, microwave and winged back chairs next to a gas fireplace. The king size bed was very comfortable. I loved the largeness of the room because I could be sitting near the fire reading under the lamp and feeling like I was in my own little heaven while my husband could be sitting at the table with his paper or electric device and both of us enjoying the room in differant ways but at the same time. This room says "relax" and that we did. The morning sunlight in the windows is a massage to the soul. This would be a great room for the business person or writer because of the versatility the size of the room offers. The Inn is just a wonderful piece of history and Mark and Judith obviously love what they do because it shows in the care of the home, breakfast and genuine concern for your enjoyment and relaxation while you are there. Thank you to Mark & Judith .Looking forward to being a regular visitor. The Caseys
