My family has been vacationing in Camden, ME since before I was born, as we have family who live there, so we are very familiar with the town. We decided to stay here based on the price, which was very reasonable for the week of the Lobster Festival, and the fact that our family who lives in town said the restaurant at the Cedar Crest had the best breakfast in town. Not only was the breakfast delicious, but the pizza was amazing as well (and this coming from someone who is used to NY pizza!) We liked that the Inn was so close to town, and within walking distance of a little shopping center with a Renys, laundry mat, and yummy food truck. The rooms were clean BUT quite dated, and the bathroom definitely needed updating. I was disappointed with the size of the bathroom - there was barely any counterspace which made it very difficult when trying to get ready in the morning with a hair dryer, hair straightener, makeup bag, etc. There was also no vent (that I can recall) and the tub had mold/mildew(?) stains which grossed me out so I bathed my 1-year-old in the sink instead. Also, the walls of the room were paper-thin so we could hear everything from the rooms around us which was annoying when we were trying to put our baby to sleep and the people downstairs kept slamming their door going in & out of the room. Overall I don't know that we would stay here again unless they updated the rooms.
