When we met Alan and Candace, we felt like we were with old friends. They have beautifully restored this gracious home that once was a wedding gift from a loving father to his daughter in the 1840's. We stayed in Hannah's room which was very spacious, quiet, and comfortable. We slept peacefully, and in the morning as expected, Candace served a delicious breakfast. The Greystone is one of the nicest B&B's we've stayed in and highly recommend it.

We visited the Greystone again recently and it was as wonderful as before. Candy and Allan are so welcoming and friendly. Like coming to visit friends! Our room was comfortable, spotless and well equipped. Everything one needs or wants.

We look forward to a return visit. This is a great place to stop when travelling between the Maritimes and Maine.

It was my pleasure to stay at Greystone while in Calais. The owners Alan and Candace were most gracious and helpful as we made Calais our base for a visit to New Brunswick. Their favorite restaurant in St.Andrews by the Sea, became ours. Great advice and more wonderful was BREAKFAST. Fresh fruit, french toast, poached pears, herb-cheese souffle. Just magnificently prepared by Candace. We felt welcome, we felt spoiled. We thank you.

We found this place when searching for a place to stay in Calais and read other reviews. This place lived up to all of the best reviews we read. Small and very personal place but our room was spacious and the service was out of this world. The breakfast was served and we had a great time visiting with the other guests. The host's cat was friendly and I wanted to steal him and take him home. It felt like we had just come to stay with a good friend while on the road. We will definitely be staying here again if we come this way on our travels.
