“Great basic accomodations”

Easy to get to off the highway. Nice room, comfortable bed. Fridge & Microwave in room. Nice outdoor pool. Free wi-fi. As good as any 2 star hotel we have stayed in. Continental breakfast included.

It is on the main street coming into town (auto dealer row - but don't let that throw you - the rooms are well back off the road). Would recommend it to others.

“Dated, but clean.”

Stayed here due to the location. It is just a couple blocks from Lion's Pride Pub, a really good beer bar owned by Chris Lively who also owns Ebenezer's Pub in Lovell, ME (known as one of the best beer bars in the US). This is a motel with older amenities, but the rooms were clean and comfortable. For $96 we had a room with free wifi, in room fridge, iron and coffee maker. Bathroom was a bit small, but due more to the age of the motel. Room came with continental breakfast, but we skipped in and opted for an early lunch at a lobster shack instead. Definitely an old-school property, but would definitely stay here again.

“low cost, not very friendly”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 August 2011

came on business. room was paid by other party. Now granted, the other party didn't pay for the room for both days at the same time, but being greeted on the phone with "you have 5 minutes to leave and if you don't we are going to call the police", is not the most professional, or courteous way to handle it. Cleaning of the rooms is bare minimum, but the cleaning woman was nice and polite. Would I stay here again? Not unless I had to.

Room Tip: stay on ground level if possible.

“Not great but OK”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 August 2011

Stayed here in mid-June. It's not fancy but clean. It's not luxurious but inexpensive. Breakfast was not gourmet but was OK and filling. Considering the cost and what you get, I have no complaints. Might stay here again if we weren't spoiled by the Holiday Inn in Bath.

One suggestion if you're heading downstate to Old Orchard Beach: DON'T stay at the Knights Inn there. It's a dirty rundown dump!

“can u pay with cash and no credit card?”

it looks nice i want to stay there but can you go there with no credit cards? i dont have a credit card because i simply do not belive in them. I was wondering if you could stay there without a credit card. And without a cash deposit for over 100 dollars. i would pay cash upfront for the rooms tho.
