My family of 4 stayed here back in late August 2009. We had two rooms, one for us the other for the two boys. Rooms were spacious and overall clean. Beds had thin mattresses and not the most comfortable. A/C was marginal, but it was not very warm when we were there. The walls were paper thin, able to hear just about every movement in adjoining rooms. Decor was rather drab and outdated. Restaurant was adequate, but we elected to dine elsewhere after our first couple of meals. The view we had was harbor side and fantastic, great for watching the boats, people, sites and sounds of the harbor, that can't be beat. Staff was helpful and accommodating at all times. We got the discount deal that included reductions on a couple of the area sites and on breakfast, that was a pretty good easy option. Overall, we would love to return to Boothbay, but will seek a better accommodations next time.
