We chose the Inn on the internet from its pictures of the rooms. A bit tricky to find with the GPS. It is so beautiful ! Laura's flowers on Townsend Avenue are wonderful. Sitting on your porch, you are able to observe the tides. Phil's breakfasts are a treat. Great granola recipe !! The Inn is beyond immaculately clean. There is so much detail in everything there. Great off street parking and it's walkable to absolutely everywhere - either side of the bridge.

The prettiest Band B on the block. The front looks like an English country garden. The back porches are private and look over the beautiful harbor. You can see the lights of the waterside restaurants at nite. The smells are wonderful. I especially loved the salt air breezes blowing through our windows. Our two room suite was beautiful and sparkling clean. Our innkeeper, Phil was great. Thank you for sharing your wife's Vicory french toast recipe, cant wait to make it. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

Beautiful English gardens surround the Blue Heron Seaside Inn entrance and once inside views of the harbor are visible from every room. Great attention to detail, knowledgeable, friendly hosts, and clean comfortable rooms make this a great Boothbay Harbor stay.

We just returned from our vacation in Boothbay Maine and stayed four nights at the sooo clean Blue Heron, owned and operated by home grown wife and husband Laura and Phil. If not on the computer, you may catch Laura playing with her English garden, absolutely beautiful. Phil is a man of many tales and is always available for advice on what to do, where to eat, etc. Breakfasts are deliciously made by Phil that beg you to take seconds. As for the Inn itself, we have never stayed at a prettier, better kept and cleaner (and the latter was the most important) Inn than the Blue Heron Seaside Inn. So tastefully decorated with antique furniture, and clean, clean, clean! Even the outside required taking several pictures due to its beauty. Did I forget to mention how clean it is? The nicest owners you'll ever meet, the most tasteful inn you'll ever stay at, a most memorable relaxing trip. Just a two minute walk from town. Thank you Laura and Phil.
