We stayed there in late September and had our wedding reception there, and I can't say enough good things. Bonnie was wonderful in answering my many questions in planning the reception. Check-in went smoothly, and quickly. I had a fantastic room, which was very clean (which is huge in my book) and the bed was comfortable enough. The day of the reception the person doing my flowers got into an accident and Bonnie and other staff stepped right up to help, contacting the local florist, who jumped in and all did a fabulous job. They did excellent decorating the dining room. The food at the reception, from the appetizers to the main course was wonderful (many of my guests commented how delicious the food was, and the fact that it was still hot - as many had experienced receptions at locations where the food was luke warm at best) and the staff were very attentive and spot on, never letting a glass get empty. All requests were met with a smile and can-do attitude. Everyone encountered at the Boothbay Harbor Inn were extremely pleasant, helpful, and just plain great to deal with. I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a wedding reception on the water in the harbor. Nice rooms, great staff, great food. I am extremely happy that I chose to have my wedding reception there. Thank you everyone at the Boothbay Harbor Inn for making our reception memorable and perfect!
