Well we would never stay here again - beds were like rocks (stayed in 2 different rooms) For the money it is totally not worth it. Breakfast was sparse and limited. When I pay $200+ per night I don't expect store bought danish, and cereal. Would not recommend. Travel all the time for business and personal this was terrible.

Many years ago, we tried to stay at this inn, but the room was tiny and filled with the toxic smell of mothballs. They would not give us another room, and under pressure finally found us a room in another inn, 3 floors up and linens full of casings. We had to pay both inns for that one night. I should have followed up with the Better Business Bureau, as advised, for this inn has never given us satisfactory service.

First the location: This B&B is at the quiet end of Commercial Street where is all the "action" in Boothbay Harbor but you hear none of the noise or commotion. You just pull in and park, no valet or far away parking spots. The B&B sits on a hill that overlooks the town, harbor and the sea. You can sit on a covered porch, an glass/screen sun room, or out on the lawn and just enjoy.
The rooms are large, clean, comfortable and stocked and equipped as you'd want your home to be. Rooms have great views, robes, refrigerators, flat screen TVs etc.
Coffee, tea, soda, and water is always available. There are computers to use (and free WiFi everywhere and books and videos. Breakfasts are different every day and they taste great. They are a perfect way to start the day.
If everything sounds great so far the best part is the staff and the service. They complement the B&B perfectly. So if you want a great B&B on the Maine shore this is the place for you.

What a perfect bed and breakfast in a perfect location. We stayed in the Admiral's Quarters room 4. I feel like we got the best room in the entire place. The view is absolutely amazing.
You look from the bed straight out to the harbor and the view couldn't be more beautiful. The town is charming and you can walk to everything. We had a nice dinner, with entertainment, at Mc Seagulls. The clam chowder was excellent.
