I've stayed at Paws Inn a few times and loved it every time. The owner is laid back, casual and happy to have you. She'll chat with you or leave you be; but she'll always chat and play with your dog! Dogs are allowed to hang out with her (and her new pup Kip) all day if you go out, and we always leave the door to our room open if the dogs want to wander back into their bed. There's a fenced in area in the back that leads into an enclosed barn. The dogs can run and play there; or just take care of business. There's a guest fridge in the kitchen, and Carolyn genuinely opens her home up to you while you stay there. She has coupons and good suggetions of where to go for dinner/things to do. This is the absolutely perfect place to stay with a pup during the winter. You can ski/snowboard for the day, and your pup gets to play all day! Its win/win!
