Our first trip to the Bethel Hill B&B was so nice, we returned again this year. Everything was as remembered: clean, quiet, tasteful and comfortable accommodations. Excellent and ample breakfasts. And the wonderful wood-paneled den with its fireplace, comfortable recliners, and beautiful Christmas tree remained the perfect place to relax after a day on the slopes. The owners, Scott and Carol Gould, greeted us like old friends and their warmth only added to the special ambiance of this place. Highly, highly recommended.

We spent a week traveling around New England and stayed in different B&B’s and inns ever night. By far, our must pleasant stay was with Scott and Carol. Their B&B is a great home in a great location. They were very helpful suggestion dinner options and helped us plan the next few days adventures. Please be advised that if you’re looking for a home full of ticky tack trinkets and dated carpet and wall paper, this might not be the place for you. This B&B is modern and as clean as any home I have ever been in. This should be your choice if you staying in this area.

My wife and I stayed at Bethel Hill Bed and Breakfast for our 10th Anniversary in July. The B&B was pristine, breakfasts were outstanding, and our room was quiet and comfortable. Scott and Carol (the owners) were friendly and extremely professional. They also gave us some fantastic suggestions for things to do in the area - in fact we changed some of our plans based on their recommendations. This was one of the best vacations either of us have ever taken thanks in large part to the Bethel Hill Bed and Breakfast.

I'd found Scott and Carol's exquisite bed and breakfast by chance on the internet while planning a long weekend to New Hampshire and Maine. Booked a room with them for our second night with the intention of finding a place in Portland for our third night. But I wasn't successful beforehand finding the right place for the third night before leaving so decided we'd get something when we got there. We were so comfortable and impressed with the Gould's very gracious hospitality along with their beautiful and immaculate accommodations. We easily decided to stay there the third night and totally skip Portland this trip. They were able to give us many ideas for things to do, which included a successful moose siting and lots of pictures. We will surely include another stay at the Gould's when we go back to Maine!
