We stayed at the Sudbury a little after the leaf peeping season.We needed to get away somewhere quiet. The Sudbury is like staying at a friend's home. Very charming and comfortable.Great breakfast every morning. The staff was great especially Lisa and Robin

First I want to say that we recieved service above and beyond. I had purchased a gift certificate at an auction in 2006. I lost it until this year. They honored the certificate without hestiation. I realize that this situation is not pertinent to other visitors however, I believe this is just one example of the kind of service people will receive. The room we had was impecable. There was a small sitting area, a very large room nicely decorated and bath. The bath was a few steps outside from the room and a shower (no bathtub) neither was a problem for us.

We just returned from a 2 night stay. Staff was helpful, friendly and efficient. Price was reasonable despite the fact we are in the midst of foliage season. Free breakfast was wonderful. Room was very clean. This is my third stay and I will absolutely stay again.

Spent a few days in Bethel over the course of thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail. We scanned the city for lodging and blindly stumbled upon the Sudley Inn. What a wonderful find. This was definitely the best place I stayed along the entire Appalachian trail. The restaurant at the Inn is quite fancy but the prohibition-style basement pub has a wonderful vibe. 29 beers on tap give you plenty of options as you listen to live music and watch the locals dance the night away.

Reggae band was a great experience last night.
