An all around unpleasant experience and here's a few of the reasons why:
1. A confirmed guaranteed reservation (by credit card and telephone) was not honored as to accomodations.
2. Motel is older and is not aging gracefully (in dire need of internal refurbshing and deodorizing.)
3. Located in a noisy environment near RR track and Hospital (trains, emergency vehicles.)
4. Continental breakfast is a farce and consisted of a green banana, day old plain doughnut, stale cereal (can you believe no milk?), with coffee that tasted like gasoline.
5. So called refrigerator in room made no ice overnight and....
6. Second floor ice machine not working (requiring search of entire motel for ice.)
7. No elevator anywhere to second floor for those who can't climb stairs.
8. Desk clerk on duty at check-in inept and attempts to contact reservations manager were unsuccesful (never returned calls.)
