i stayed here for thanksgiving of 2009 and i had a little 1 yr and 10 mth old little boy who got the flu, i went downstairs to tell the guy at the desk that my little boy had vomited on one pillow case and then he had the nerve to tell me i had to pay 8.00 for a pillow case. I didnt pay so i went back upstairs and left it at that well my little boy was in my bed and then he vomited all over the sheets and everything and the guy at the desk this night told me i had to talk to the manager well the next day i talked to the manager and he said i would have to pay for everything he vomited on and if i didnt pay that i would have to leave. He kicked all of us out cause i wouldnt pay for the sheets my son got sick on and then called the cops and the cops told him that it would be a civil matter on getting me to apy for the sheets well the manager gave us an hour to pack up and find another motel to stay at when my son was not suppose to leave the room for 2 days.I called travelocity and asked for them to repay me my 2 days that i didnt stay there well travelocity told me that he had charged me for the night that i didnt even stay and i went down and asked him about it and he told me yeah i charged u for 1 night so i can get my money back for my sheets knowing he couldnt do that. I ended up calling corporate office and the better business bureau on this motel.

Dirty, bad character, do not honor Micropass, cheating. Do not stay in this dirty, unsecure hotel. Your stay will be a nightmare.

I have stayed with Microtel numerous times while traveling and have always enjoyed a clean room at a decent price. I went into the room that I was given at this location in Sulphur, LA and was shocked. The room smelled very very bad with an attempted cover scent that made me sick within a few minutes. The floors were even worse !!! The whole place was in the same shape. The halls smelled as well and this night unattended children were running around. We checked out and found a delightful room across the street. Please avoid this microtel until they clean up their act !!!!

We wanted a non smoking room. All entrances to their rooms are from the inside of the building. Very quiet, very clean, comfortable beds. Staff was extremely nice.
