“Nice and comfy for my family of 4”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 August 2010

In town for a family funeral. We had a two room suite with a bath in between the rooms. Queen bed in one room and double futon in the other for my kids to share (ages 12 and 7). Futon room had a small fridge and microwave. It was clean, it met our needs, and was a good price. The lady who checked us in didn't have much to say. Breakfast was not offered.

“Nice and Cozy”

This was my first stay in a Bed and Breakfast. I didnt know what to expect. My husband and I stayed one night in the B&B. It was very pretty, clean, and attractive (romantic too). Luckily we were the only guests there for most of the night. Once the other guests in the house arrived (late that night) I could hear every move, cough, conversation they had. That was kind of annoying, it also made me feel uncomfortable since I knew they could hear every move we made too.

The only other thing that was kind of annoying was that when our window unit turned off it ticked every couple seconds and was pretty loud so we had to let it run all night so that we couldnt hear the ticking. There was a book in the room for you to write your "Thanks" in, looked to me like everyone who stayed loved it. They cook breakfast in the morning downstairs but I didnt have time for that.

Overall, I think it is whats to be expected from an older home (bed and breakfast). It was nice and we enjoyed our room and it was close to town. The room consisted of a bedroom that had a private bath with clawfoot tub and also a sitting room with futon and TV and coffee maker.
