The price is reasonable, and the people are service oriented, but more than that, they will go the extra mile (within limits of course) to help their customers be satisfied. As a person with a medical condition that makes chemical fragrances a problem, I was very pleased to find that -- unlike almost every other hotel I have (unsuccessfully) tried to stay in over the years -- the lobby did not have any air "fresheners" (the chemicals in such products are actually very toxic to the body, so I like to call them "polluters") and that is why I decided to give the room a try.
If it would be possible for the management to look into using nontoxic cleaning products in the rooms (and no air "fresheners") (a google search might bring up some good links as a start, but I'm aware of one website -- www.ourlittleplace.com -- that might be a place to start), I would make this hotel my "go-to" place the next time I'm in Shreveport.. The products used are no more "toxic" than those used in most other hotels, but people with my medical condition (and others, like asthma and migraines, where fragrance chemicals also cause debilitating symptoms) have such trouble finding hotel rooms that do not have chemical cleaning products, I would love to be able to recommend this hotel to my fellow sufferers, if such a change in products usage were instituted.
