no hot water in shower. Hotel mostly vacant. Won't be back.

I stayed here last week and had to switch after one night. The room was so old and worn and just felt so unsanitary that I had to put my clothes in the freezer when I got home in case I had brought the bed bugs with me. The rooms are next to or, as in my case, under a highway. There was no water in the shower. The whole place smells bad. This is simply a hotel that should not be open for business, it should be closed for renovation.

This hotel had excellent service, very nice front desk workers, and a clean fun pool. The breakfast had a big variety of foods, and was free if you stayed there (if you looked at the door it had a price list but that was for people who were not staying there). The hotel is centrally located, easy on and off I-20. There is also a bar inside the hotel, so you can relax after a long day....and they have a free shuttle to casinos. the rooms have a microwave and refrigerator for you to enjoy restaurant left overs or snacks.

We were really pleased with this place. The rooms were clean, pleasantly decorated, spacious and comfortable. The staff was outstanding. Even the housekeeping staff were friendly and asked if we enjoyed our stay. The front desk staff and the restaurant staff were awesome. The location was fine, within walking distance to restaurants. There is a complimentary shuttle also. We didn't use it, but was a nice option. The complimentary breakfast was very good. This property should be a model for how hotels should be run. Honestly, no complaints - oh, maybe one: we rec'd a voucher for a free drink at the lounge, but by the time we got back to the hotel from dinner, the bar was closed. But, that was our fault - we didn't check the hours.
