My wife and I wanted an intimate marriage celebration, but had no idea where to do that in Shreveport. Fortunately I heard about the Fairfield Place through the radio, and we ended up celebrating it there. We had such a memorable time... the service was beyond compare, the rooms were all very charming and comfortable, and the breakfast was incredible. Both my wife's and my parents loved it so much that they stay at the Fairfield Place every time they visit. Other members of my wife's family stayed at the Fairfield at our recommendation and have vowed to return.

The outside grounds could perhaps use a little landscaping but other than that everything inside is pristine.

The owners are very kind people who love what they do. They seem to really pour themselves into this bed and breakfast, which is no small undertaking.

If you are travelling to Shreveport or just passing through, I highly, highly recommend staying here. For just a slighly higher premium over a standard hotel you really can't beat it.

Fairfield Place exceeded all of our expectations for our first B & B experience. Our room was very romantic; the perfect place to celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary. The breakfast that Pat and Mark served is one to be beat! I'll go as far as saying it was the best breakfast I've ever had. The inn is full of charm and character, and the innkeepers' attention to detail is evident as soon as you arrive. We're recommending it to all of our friends and family and can't wait to go back ourselves!

We just spent 3 nights that were so thoroughly relaxing and serene, it was hard to leave the B&B to go experience Shreveport.
The B&B is over 100 years old but has all of the modern amenities, yet has not lost the character of its origin. The southern hospitality starts with the owners but is also evident with all of the staff. Everyone works hard to make your stay comfortable. It is very clean and the food is outstanding. The bed was extremely comfortable and the rooms quiet. The B & B is also very pet friendly, our dog enjoyed the stay as much as we did.

We stayed in the main house and really had a lovely time. The house and grounds are charming...like an old Southern lady. The accomodations were comfortable and the towels were plush! The Frasers are wonderfully hospitable and the breakfasts were outstanding. They welcomed us with our 6 year old son - which is unusual for many bed and breakfasts. We liked staying in a beautiful neighborhood while visiting Shreveport. The whole stay was a wonderful experience. We hope to stay again on another visit to Shreveport.
