The people at the Front desk are rude ! They do not want to help you. I felt like I was at the DMV, Not a hotel !! Yes- That rude . Not jst one shift, ALL shifts . Stayed five nights, all the other hotels were booked, So I had no choice.NEVER again!! The halls smelled like pot and I found a Bud of pot ON MY BED!!! [-]!! Granted is was for Mardi Gras , But seriously!!! WAY to far to walk anywhere. The Voodoo Bar was nice though , and on the property. GREAT food. I hated going back to the hotel . You have to go passed the front desk each time , But if you go in and out to often , They complain you are letting the cold air in !!! WHAT ?????

I am in the US Army, and was delayed due to "weather". The Ariline gave us displaced vouchers fo a hotel. The hotel was the Ramanda Inn and Suites, the voucher was supposed to cover all expenses, except taxes. I gave my credit card number to pay for the taxes. The desk clerk took the voucher and supposedly credited it toward the room. Now it is "lost".

Come to find out they charged 89.00 to my credit card instead of 8.22 like authorized. I have been trying to get this charged explained to me by the employees of this establishment and also speak with the General Mgr. ANd no one can seem to assist me. So now I must take action with my credit card company, and also file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of New Orleans.

I would not reccomend this hotel to anyone. Sure the rooms were nice, resturants were nice. But the overall experince was terrible,ANd getting any one to acknowledge the problem is another issue.

I stayed here last week on recommendation of a friend. The hotel looks nice and is new but service is very poor. The front desk clerk was rude and unfriendly. There was a problem with my check in and the manager that came out to help was equally rude. I tried to use their business center to print something out and their printers were not working. I tried to use my laptop but the hotel does NOT have wirless internet - only dial up, come on now - who still uses dial up, get with the times!!!

The only bright spot was the restaurant on site, it is owned by people other than the hotel which would explain why there is a service culture there. The restaurant has a great bar and food and is very popular with the locals as the hotel is in a corpoprate park.

New trip to New Orleans I will stay elsewhere, the site has a good location I will say that but if you are looking to get good service this is not your choice. I agree with the other reviews, this place has big issues, poor service and poor management!

This hotel is clean and relatively new, but don't expect too much. The decor is fairly spartan and lacks charm. The bathrooms are functional but bathed in a medicinal fluorescent light. During my night's stay, the smoke detector in my room mysteriously went off at 2:00 a.m. (after going to bed at midnight due to a delayed flight) because apparently the batteries were low. When I called the front desk they weren't any help and suggested I get up on top a chair and remove the batteries from the detector. I did this and the detector STILL made noise. I finally asked to be moved at 2:30 a.m. I had to go to the front desk and get another room key before moving myself from room to room. I got back to sleep only a couple hourse before I had to wake up again. Horrible night's sleep. No break on the room bill or apology given. I will never stay here again.
