We were at the Bienvenue House the first week of December. Jill and Skip were so gracious. They stayed up late into the night listening to my mother and aunt tell their stories of visiting Louisiana as young children. Jill also made my 7-year-old niece feel very special. The rooms were spacious and charming. After we left Bienvenue House, we visited several museums nearby and when we told the docents where we were staying, they all knew Jill and said how wonderful she was.
The breakfast was delicious and so were the cookies we had before bedtime.
We were able to park in the drive way on the side street. The garden and balcony are beautiful. We sat on the porch swing. We rented two rooms - one upstairs and one downstairs and each had its own bathroom. Bathrooms were beautiful and well appointed. The bed I was in was comfortable.
