We stayed here for 5 nights in July, needed to be close to downtown Baton Rouge for an event going on during that time. The hotel was very nice and clean, free breakfast, and friendly staff. Also, enjoyed indoor pool since it rained almost daily. There was a nice looking fitness center but we never had time to use it. This hotel was just across the bridge from downtown Baton Rouge (10 min drive, unless there was rush hour hour construction traffic and even then it never took more than 30 min to get to the River Center downtown). I wish this hotel had a restaurant as the eating places are few and far between in this area unless you want fast food. The visitor's center was close by and that was nice to stop in there. This hotel was definitely the highlight of our trip and we would definitely stay there again!
