My Husband and I had a wonderful stay here. The bed was comfy, but small (we are used to a king). It was quiet and very relaxing. The owners are extremely nice and accommodating. The breakfast was yummy. It was not traditional breakfast, but nice to try something new and good. The travel time to New Orleans was about 40 minutes. I would recommend this B&B to anyone because of the Royal treatment we got!

We stayed in this B & B in early November and had a wonderful experience. The house and property is very beautiful and the owners are hospitable and friendly. They farm a lot of the breakfast foods there on the property or have obtain local and organic products for quality. The breakfast was great and I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone.

We stayed at Woodridge B & B for just one night but really enjoyed ourselves. The owners were very personable, and their homemade breakfast was a treat. The Magnolia Room is cozy but spacious.

We also went on the Honey Island Swamp Tour, which was fun and interesting, and ate at Nathan's in nearby Slidell.

We wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending a romantic weekend at Woodridge.

We decided to stay here whilst visiting the local swamp tour. Our reception was nothing but warm and welcoming after a long day sightseeing. We were given an upgrade due to the room being available and were so impressed. The whole property had a clean,friendly and cosy feel to it and made us feel instantly at home. This was one of the last places we stayed having enjoyed a wonderful tour of the deep South and having stayed in some very good quality hotels.
Its always great to finish a trip with a lasting memory and for us the Woodridge was just that. The room was clean with fresh sheets and a real home from home feel. The owners could not be more helpful if they tried but at the same time you were left to enjoy the property. Some b+bs we have visited in the past we have crept about having felt like we have gatecrashed into someones house but this was certainly not the case here.
We only stayed two nights but each morning we had the most tasty breakfast. With home cooked jams,biscuits and hot dishes.
There is a lovely little pool at the location although due to time contraints we didnt have the time to take advantage.
The setting is also very peaceful and we spent an hour just walking around the area observing some beautiful houses set in the trees. Living in the UK we would have to win the lottery to afford a property of the same size as those we looked at, and you really dont feel like you are just of the Interstate 10.
We cannot recommend this b+b enough and for us the most enjoyable part was the true Southern hospitality of the owners. Thankyou Debbi and Tim for a wonderful stay. We enjoyed are chats at breakfast and the lovely homecooked food.
