If you need a stop before reaching Yosemite, this is a good place to stay. Rooms are large and clean, service is good and you even get a (limited) breakfast.

We are thrilled to have found the Best Western in Oakdale! When our family gathers there some of us stay in hotels...this Best Western is absolutely by far the best place to stay within 50 miles! The staff is friendly, helpful welcoming and even held on to an item I left in my room until I called several weeks later...I was amazed when the desk clerk told me she was holding it waiting for my call! We were treated like guests in a 4 star hotel with very comfortable beds, beautiful decor and super clean rooms. We will definitely be back...and will certainly recommend this Best Western to everyone! This experience has made me a Best Western fan and I now always look for one when we travel.

Good stay for the Rodeo or for kayaking in Knights Ferry

This hotel is in an adjoining town to a large casino and I'm sure they get overflow visitors that need to sleep later in the mornings. Employees of the hotel yell down the hallway to eachother and you can hear everyword in the room. I tried to talk with the desk clerk on checkout and she didn't bother getting off the phone (personal call) to even listen to me, she was very rude and ended outrconversation with "WHATEVER". I travel a good bit and have never been treated with such rudeness. I would never stay at this hotel again, I'd sleep in my car first.
