The Queen Anne is a beautifully appointed Victorian B&B with pretty grounds. Very lovely common rooms and exceptionally elegant guest rooms (and not cluttered or fussy). Very clean and polished. It is 'unhosted' until breakfast time, meaning that you pick up your room keys on the front porch table and let yourself in - not a problem for us. We felt that we would be promptly attended to if we called about anything, so we felt secure and not at all isolated.
We found only two small drawbacks - the thermostat upstairs controls four rooms, and it was a bit chilly, and the shower pressure and stream were low (not uncommon in older houses). The two-person jacuzzi was very nice and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was tasty and charmingly served by the innkeeper. She was friendly and social without being intrusive - a perfect combination. Great conversation and interesting guests at the table. Natchitoches is a delightful town and the Queen Anne representative of the friendliness of the region. We will return and recommend.
