We stayed here for two nights during our stay in New Orleans. The Hotel is next to the freeway (I-10) but our room was surprisingly quiet. The room was immaculate and well planned. Hotel staff was very friendly and breakfast was good. Would definitely stay here again. About a fifteen minute drive into the city of New Orleans.

This hotel was just outside of New Orleans without the New Orleans price. We stayed there for about $60 a night. The management and service was great and checked in to see if our room was ok and then emailed me after I got home to make sure I was happy with the stay, which I was. The room was clean and I only put cleanliness down a little because the bathroom looked a bit (just a bit, I'm not saying it wasn't ok) less nice and new. I know hotels get used a lot and there isn't much you can do about it, but I'm particularly freakish about bathrooms. It was next to a 24/hour diner which would have been handy if we needed it. Lots of ice machines, had fridge and microwave in the room. There was a big vanity area outside of the bathroom/shower to get ready in.

Average La Quinta beside extremely busy roads, difficult to find access too.The City Diner in parking lot is outstanding. Good plain Louisiana food at good prices.

This is an older La Quinta (old-style motel with all exterior entrances), but it appears to have been remodeled since some of the other reviews I read. Paint, decor and carpet were fresh, wireless internet and flat screen TV, room was clean, price was good (about $63, I think). Good value for the money, if you're not looking for anything fancy.
