in the past 1.5 years, I've used this hotel about 6 times and sad to say only trip 3 was good. This weekend was the back breaker that will cease me doing business with them. As another response noted, I too was surprised in the 2nd night when a do not disturbed tag was placed on my door. My room tag was very safe inside the room. The hotel had an event and filled-up the hotel parking so as a paying guest, I had no parking, had to leave my vehicle in the cab pull-up area. With late check-in found the room with no soap, no shampoo, no hair dryer, not enough towels. Night 2 no cleanup, night 3 not enough towels and when I called, they never had enough towels in inventory...amazing. Now all of this seems minor so here is the kicker, the 3rd floor rooms near the elevator are located on top of the event space. In my case the event was a Mardi Gras parade party complete with a live band. Even with the TV turned up the sound and noise blows through the floor and windows. They advised me that only folks on floor 3 was to be the party goers! That said, they were out of rooms so I was stuck in a bad situation. They did comp my room one night but when I got the bill, they billed incorrectly so I had to go to the front desk and get it corrected. Customer services needs a jump start, management needs a complete shake-up. Sad part is the rooms are very nice, breakfast was very good, service is badly broken
