My Dad stay here and what a dissappointment. My family had dinner in their resturant and from the outside and the diing room, it appeared to have promise. The dinning room had linen cloths and the food was good. I figured this would be a good place to put my dad.

When my dad checked in, the room looked run down. The other problem is they charge about $80 per night! $30 would have been fair. They were under staffed because it was Christmas eve and my dad could not get assistance for supplies. Finally new hotels are built and quest won't have to deal with this. Wake up hotel owners, the winds of change are here!

My 3 night stay at this "hotel" was hardly a pleasant experience. Note that the term hotel is used very loosely. It's more like a cheap motel 6 category. The entire building is in need of an upgrade. Stained chairs, wobbly tables, and broken down furniture were the least of my problems. Myself, along with my many associates who held a military reunion at the place were constantly unable to enter our rooms as the key pads for the doors were deficient. After having a new key card prepared at the front desk for the third time in one day I went back to my room at 10 PM and still was not able to unlock the door. Front desk clerk called a handyman to come from his home and work on the lock. He did get the door open after cleaning the unit and saying that the cause was the electronic eye was dirty. All the other men from my group were having the same problem with their door locks also. They could usually get inside by sliding that card about 20 or more times. As I had been inconvenienced so many times I asked the desk clerk to comp one of my room nights and was refused. I considered her manner uncaring and inconsiderate. Lots of other hotels nearby to choose from and I would never use this one again.

Contrary to other reviews on this page, my stay here was very pleasant. I have an RV and this was the only motel in Leesville that would accommodate my RV. The location was the most convenenient of all the hotels in the area. My room was very clean, the staff friendly, and the breakfast delcious. It was a good value and I would stay here again.

Staff and free breakfast was ok but rooms are dirty and smell 'wet' or musty. Found bugs and staff immediately responded the next day with spraying. Also, keep in mind, with the lower rate you will attract the transient population...meaning, one and two nighters just passing through. Police called one night due to family fight! Cable tv was ok but NOTHING can compensate for roaches. New Hampton Inn being built should be done soon, maybe they will take Gov't Perdiem. Although I am here in March the pool is not open and I would not recommend getting within 10 feet of it judging by the green scum and algie build up!
