This was our second trip and we had another enjoyable stay. There are many negative comments lately, but considering the options in the area this is the nicest place to stay in Lake Charles. No problems with check in or the room, we will be back!

My two night stay Dec 16-18 was to join family members for a celebration. We had very nice adjoining rooms with spacious and luxurious bathrooms. Because the weather was uncharacteristically cold it was wonderful to have so much indoor space to enjoy especially the lobby fireplaces.

For a one night stay, this was adequate. Service overall, was very good however rooms don't come with many amenities such as Internet ($11) or use of fitness room ($10). Bathrooms nice and spacious. Casino was unforgiving!! Ate at one restaurant and service was just OK. Grounds were very nice.

9 people from one company had reservations while working in the area. Most requested non smoking rooms and when we arrived, there were none available. Front desk manager told us that "We guarantee rooms but not typr as in King or smoking/non smoking. 3 of us moved to the Holiday inn becaue of this policy and I assure you, none of us will ever book rooms at the hotel again. In addition, they paid 208.00 per night and I paid 99.00 per night for my stay. This type policy will certainly reduce your attendance of hotel stays and we continue to make our friends aware of this extreme policy.
