My husband and I stayed in room 1 with the fireplace for valentines weekend. What an amazing weekend. This place is fantastic.....the breakfast is to die for....I am still dreaming about it! Tanis is so nice and friendly. They have a great movie selection on site. We will be back everytime we go to lake charles. They are also very close to the casinos.

My husband and I decided to stay at C.A.'s house after reading many great reviews. We stayed in Room #4 and were thoroughly impressed by the room. It was very large and had several nooks in the windows that had large pillows (perfect for some quiet reading). Our hostess was delightful and the breakfast was wonderful (my husband is still talking about it). We will definitely be back and would recommend C.A.'s house to all of our friends.

Again, we were attracted to this area due to the area being active and this BBN is very old. The Owner was very nice and welcoming. We stayed in the Attic Room up stairs. We caught a few orbs and I had experienced this strange warmth come through my face with a disctinct smell.

My husband and I stayed here because it was a last minute decision to visit Lake Charles, and all of the hotels were booked up. I can honestly say that I am glad the hotels were booked up. If not, I wouldn't of had the opportunity to stay at this fabulous B&B. When we arrived, we couldn't believe our eyes. I had seen some pictures online, but they DO NOT do this place justice! I felt like an ant compared to this massive place. The interior is absolutely gorgeous and exceptionally clean! We stayed in room 3 which is my personal favorite room of all. I was able to see all of the rooms since we happened to be the only guests there at the time. They were all lovely. The housekeeper was very hospitable and helpful. She gave us a tour and answered all of our questions. We hung out at the house for a while, left to go eat out, went to the lake, and went back to the house for a swim in the pool / hot tub. It couldn't have been more perfect! It was peaceful and relaxing! When we woke up the next morning, we were sad to have to leave. We are already making plans to return in the near future. If and when I ever return to Lake Charles, I refuse to stay at a hotel! This place is going on the top of my list!
