I really wish I would have read the 'reviews' before booking this motel. We went for an overnight gambling trip on a Saturday night, so didn't want to spend alot out on Motel... but "live and learn".. next time I'll be more than happy to spend $ 30.00 - $ 40.00 more for a better situation.

Our room (non-smoking) definitely smelled of smoke. There was no toilet paper holder in our bathroom (toilet tissue piled on back of toilet)...One of the main lights in the room didn't work and the faceplate on the phone was missing.. But that's not the biggie. The biggie is having to call 'security' because people are banging on our door at 2:30 a.m. (twice)...This is a 'shady looking area'.... will never stay here again!

Was woke up early by cleaning man emptying garbage cans outside our door. Had some sort of rolling cart that needed some WD-40....very loud and woke us up early than we wanted!

When we checked out the next morning, there were 2 police cars at the front lobby, apparantly due to some 'disturbance' and come to find out... another party had complained of someone knocking on their door early that night around 9:00 p.m. Did NOT feel SAFE at all!

Needless to say... didn't get much sleep! Trust me, pay an extra $ 30.00 and stay somewhere 'safer' and 'nicer'....

we stayed at motel 6 2 years ago. have always stayed at this motel chain in different cities. but this place was unclean, bad service, etc..
have not stayed at a motel 6 since that time. unfair to rate all in chain by just one, but left us unhappy.
they were cheap, but you definately get what you pay for.

We booked late for memorial day weekend so we didn't have many choices. Got in late, 2am, and check-in was out doors and mosquitos were feasting. The room smelled of something like cigarette smoke , we weren't sure, not good. One queen bed though we had reserved 2 beds.
The bathroom had 1 towel for 2 people, the rug was a living organism, and the bathroom tile was ripped up on the edges. The air conditioner sounded like a 75 corvair engine. The upside is that we got our money back.
Maybe, you get what you pay for, but hotels shouldn't be an afront to the senses.
