Visited hotel restaurant for dinner buffet only. Meal was delicious--prime rib, gumbo and cranberry/orange salad were outstanding. The entire staff was very accomodating to ensure everyone had a enjoyable meal.

For this being an older hotel, it was a pleasure to stay. They rooms were reasonablly priced and I was comfortable while I was away from home.

I stayed in this wonderful hotel for more than 8 weeks and it has been the best hotel I ever seen in all my life : staff was nice, food was just a masing, and my room had all you need to be happy...
Especially I recommand you to speak with Christy ( manager ) who is such a nice person taking care of all the clients with this famous " South hospitality " !!

I stayed at the Plantation Inn from 9/8/08 thru 9/17/08. This was a week after hurricane Gustav hit the area and I was there as a disaster relief volunteer. It was a very pleasent stay under the conditions we were in. The electricity was out in most of Houma, we rcieved power on my second night. the staff at the hotel was very pleasent and worked very hard to accomadate us as much as possible. When hurricane Ike passed to the sout of us during our stay, we had to hunker down for a day, there would not have been any place in Houma I would have rather been. I felt very safe at the Plantation Inn. My thanks to the staff.
