I had a reservation at another hotel down the street from the Baymont Inn! Upon arrival, at the other hotel, I was greeted by a desk clerk who was awful. She had the nastiest attitude, not to mention when you walked in the door it smelled gross, just not a pleasant smell you would want to smell when you arrive at a hotel. I told my husband I wasnt comfortable and I wanted to leave. We got in our car and got out of there quickly. We then stopped at a little store and they told us that the Baymont Inn was awesome. I'm not going to lie, by this time i was angry and just plain upset. So, with hesitation we stopped at the Baymont Inn and immediately the smell of fresh baked cookies hit your nose and it was so inviting. The desk clerk was awesome, she welcomed us with open arms and a huge, huge smile, its like she couldn't wait to help us. I can not tell you how awesome that felt to know that we were wanted. We then began to tell her how we were treated at the other hotel, and she showed great sympathy. I want to tell the management at the Baymont Inn, and I did ask for her name on purpose, it was Chrissy Crochet, that this girl is someone you may want to keep around for a long time, I mean if she treated me with all of this warm hospitality, I can just imagine how she is with everyone else. So thank you from the bottom of my heart Mrs. Chrissy!!!!

From the moment i arrived, i was greeted with open arms. My room was so amazing more than i had wanted actually, very clean, it smelled fresh and i knew the housekeepers where doing an outstanding job, I have been in a lot of hotels and I have to say that this is by far my favorite hotel ever. The next morning when i awoke, after an amazing night of sleep, i went down to the breakfast area, and was greeted again by a smiling face from the staff, and not to mention the breakfast was wonderful. As I was about to enter my room, a housekeeper asked me if there was anything i needed today and i told her "no I was good" and she told me if there was anything I needed even if she was done for the day, she would help me out, talk about great service! On the day i was departing, I think was the best day ever for my stay because when i got to the front desk, I was yet again greeted by a very huge smiling face from the most "fabulous" lol desk clerk there ever was, she was spunky and full of life. She made my whole day and every time someone passed her up she had to say Good Morning. It was very refreshing to feel so welcomed, (her nickname was Fabulous) but her real name was Chrissy. She even took the time out to ask me how my stay was. Thank you so much for everything Baymont Staff. The pleasure was definetly all mine. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

When we showed up for our stay I was told there was a problem with my room reservation. I had requested a non-smoking, two double beds, lower floor room. I was offered a suite at no additional cost but I explained I really needed the two beds because I was having back problems that caused restless sleep and I didn't want to disturb my wife. After driving ten hours to get to Houma I relented and accepted the change in my reservations. Starting around 7PM the hotel seemed to be swarming with boys running down the hall on our floor and the floor above us. Doors slamming, kids squealing, and constant running. I stuck my head out the door to find out which room they were staying in and another guest down the hall was apparently doing the same thing. The other guest expressed his disgust and said he would call the front desk to get it stopped. Either he didn't call or the front desk ignored his request. There was even cameras in the hall that apparently didn't work or management chose to ignore. At around 8PM the chaperones of what turned out to be at least one little league team decided to have a block party in the parking lot below our room. Drinking and partying and this was probably 50 feet from the front desk. Again the hotel management did nothing. At around 11PM the noised either dropped to a level where we could go to sleep or we fell asleep due to exhaustion. Next morning was no better. At the free breakfast there were more kids than tables with chaperones/parents walking around barefoot. No free breakfast was worth going through more frustration so we got the hell out of there. As I told the front desk when I checked out my stay was, "absolutely horrible, absolutely horrible". Oh I'm so sorry was their response. Never ever again will Baymont Inn & Suites see me in one of their hotels.

From the friendly desk greeting unpon early arrival - through out my three nights - perfect. The rooms were so clean and spacious - my king bed mattress so comfortable and the pillows were fluffly and wonderful - I slept like a baby.

The full breakfast was great - just about anything you could want was there.

The staff very friendly in greeting you throughout the day - someone was always mopping and keeping the place shiny clean.

A great hotel experience.
