Rude front desk personal.The room was "Thrown back together".Carpets were in need of a HASMAT team.and little things like old crusty towels,trash in drawers were left behind.This place took low budget to no budget.

No problem,great location,easy hwy access, friendly staff, located 15 min max from everthing in Nawlins. Appears to have done some upgrades,new bathroom,clean bed,very pleased,would stay again. Price was great.Big weelend in town most places jacked up prices but i booked early and got normal rate.

Went for new year's visit to NOLA and nothing was right about this place. We were not expecting much from a travelodge but this place can not deliver even the basics. Arrived to find hair and dirt in the toilet and tub. The receptionist refused to have the room cleaned or move us to different rooms. Woke up to no hot water on one whole side of the building. After a long debate with another very rude receptionist we spent an hour finding rooms with hot water. The new rooms had broken lights, broken hair dryer, the AC unit had cables exposed and basically smelled musty and unused. The breakfast area was never clean. The coffee was cold, supplies always low and the receptionists begrudgingly came to make coffee or refresh supplies. When we asked for the manager we were told he was on holiday. At 3.30am on new years one of the residents smashed their window in and none of the staff did anything. The glass was left shattered on the floor outside the room. On our last day we 'found' the manager and complained. Although he promised to call us back the following day and agreed to lower the rate he didn't and he charged the full rate which we had to dispute with the CC company. If the phrase 'you get what you pay for' is true this place should cost nothing...because that's exactly what you get.

You need to drink in order to enjoy your stay here. The hotel is old looking that is need of a renovation ASAP! Walked in the room and it completed smelled like an ashtray. The bathroom looks as if it was modeled after the one in The Shinning! Do not book here because they will not give you a refund of you try to cancel. Just pay the extra $10 or $20 to stay somewhere else.
