My husband & I stayed here one night on our way back home from Houston. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice & our room was neat & clean. They provided all the standard toiletries, plus lotion. There were all sorts of lamps throughout the room & a nightlight in the bathroom, so one person could get up without disturbing the other. The TV was a nice, big flatscreen & they had a lapdesk in the room for anyone who likes to do their work in bed (there was also a regular desk for those who don't.) The bed was very comfortable & the comforter was fluffy, but the pillows were not at all supportive. However, they provide plenty, so I could double up. I also read on one of the in-room cards thast they provide firm pillows if that is preferred. I was just to tired to go looking for them.

The pool was crystal clear & right outside the hotel. Our room looked over it - & even though we were only a few feet away from it - we were not at all disturbed by the children playing in it. In the morning, the complimentary breakfast was delicious! There was the usual continental, some hot food, & healthy fare like fruits & yogurt as well. And even though the hotel was completely full (we had booked the last room), nothing ran out. The morning staff & housekeeping were all just as friendly & welcoming as anyone could wish.

Stayed at this hotel with my wife and kids (14 and 6) on our way to New Orleans for a cruise - wanted to stay just out of town to head to the ship in the morning. Arrived rather late after a long drive, check-in was easy and quick. The desk staff was very helpful in finding a pizza delivery restaurant close by, and gave us the AAA rate even though we don't have AAA (saving about $35). Maybe a little more for this hotel than I usually spend for a stop-over, but not by much at $107.

The room was very clean and quiet - we all slept quite well. Did not have time to try out the breakfast in the morning as we were up and heading to New Orleans early. Lots of convenient shopping and food in the area (right by a Cracker Barrel and Waffle Hut).

Overall a good experience. I would recommend this hotel to a family with kids needing an overnight stay.

I loved everything about it. House keeping was good, they were in and out, and everyone who works there was very nice

We stayed at The Inn for 4 nights and the service was excellent. The staff were the most courteous and friendly I have encountered anywhere. Rooms were clean (as was the rest of the facility) and comfortable. The free breakfast was only so-so, but it was FREE, so you can't complain about it. Will definately stay agin on my next trip to the Hammond area.
