“"Charming"...It's Named Appropriately”

My husband, daughter and son-in-law stayed for a couple of nights right before Thanksgiving. My SIL is from England and he wanted to stay somewhere that would give him a "feel" for Louisiana and the area. I will certainly say that it's name is a definate indication of the property. Eric and Gloria do everything they can to make sure your stay is comfortable. One night, when rain was threatening, Eric came to tell us and to make sure that we had flashlights, etc in case the power went out. They also gave us (very good) recommendations on local restaurants and on where to take a swamp tour. The property is lovely and I'm sure would be even nicer in the spring and summer. we stayed in the two-bedroom cottage and it was so relaxing to sit on the porch and just do nothing. I would certainly recomment them and the only complaint I have is that we didn't stay longer.

“Country Charm B&B in Breaux Bridge, LA - Amazing weekend~”

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the "charming" Country Charm bed and breakast located in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana the first week of October. The cabins were located on a beautiful pond where we were able to canoe as well as fish off the pier. The weather was fantastic and the owners were extremely friendly! They are a young couple who were very social but at the same time gave us our space for a romantic weekend for just the two of us. We stayed in the Lakeside cabin which included a fully stocked kitchen, two bedrooms, a living room, bathroom, and last but not least a jacquzzi which was very relaxing. We enjoyed the Southern hospitality and woke up to muffins, fruit, coffee and fresh flowers in all the rooms. We truly enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the swing. We took a few strolls down the trails and at night made smores on the fire pit under the large oak tree. While my husband was fishing, I thoroughly enjoyed reading a book in the hammock under the oak tree. A little peace of heaven and country at its best!! This place would be fantastic for an outdoor wedding, birthday party or just a relaxing weekend as a couple or with your family. One morning we went in to downtown Breaux Bridge which had the cutest antique shops with friendly store owners who were willing to help as soon as we walked in the door. I highly recommend one eating at Cafe Des Amis. On the weekends, they have live cajun music and dancing which was very entertaining. We also drove down to the famous Lake Martin. Fantastic scenery and great shots with the camera! The rooms were very clean and equipped with all the neccessities. Thanks so much to the owners, Eric and Gloria, for a wonderful weekend. We can't wait to go back in the winter for another relaxing weekend.

My boyfriend and I came to Country Charm for a fall get-a-way and I am still in awe from our beautiful, fun-filled weekend! As soon as you drive up, the oak trees take your breath away and you instantly feel like you are in another world! Once we put our bags up inside, the owners came and greeted us and invited us for some ice cold beverages in the new outdoor kitchen next to the pond! They are a super friendly young couple, who have the most ADORABLE child that you can't help but fall in love with! We made a bonfire in the fire-pit underneath the HUGE oak trees and just relaxed in the hammack without a care in the world! They have a private pier with a wooden swing and it is stocked with food to feed all of the cute little ducks and even had fishing poles and canoes if you want to go for a romantic ride around the pond! The downtown area has the BEST gift shops and of course, the most amazing cajun food you will ever eat. And if you want to relive the movie "sweet home alabama" where Reese Witherspoon goes to her old hometown bar, I'm pretty sure the same bar is here! It's called Sherman's and it's in the middle of the woods--the most fun, care free bar we've ever been to! You HAVE to check it out! Just ask the owner, I'm sure he'll even drive you there. He said he will even bring his dog, Pippin with him sometimesand the owner doesn't even turn his head! It's definitely a sight to see!

I recommend this B&B for couples(new and old!), families, or even if you need to get away by yourself for a weekend! I LOVE COUNTRY CHARM! We will DEFINITELY be back!

“Country Charm's Charm”

Just before you enter another world you are struck by the Knock Out Roses by the white picket fence and that is just the beginning of the wonders of CCB&B. We stayed in the bottom portion of the barn and from start to finish Eric did all that he could to let us know and feel that we were welcome in this place...The majestic oaks , the pond and the little touches of the room kept us going ahhh and wow the whole time...We sat outside for a time and built a nice fire and drank wine under the stars.....I could feel the stresses of the trip and job melt away almost as soon as we arrived. For that we thank you Eric for making our stay one to remember.
