“Bad Experience”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2011

The Hotel was a bit hard to find. It was on a residential street of mostly older ranches and bungalows. The surrounding homes were in various states of repair. The night clerk was pleasant and had me checked in quickly, explaining to me they only had upstairs rooms. When I arrived at the room, the next door neighbor was grilling some kind of meat on a small charcoal grill just outside his door. Checking my room out, I found that the heat had been turned all the way up and the temperature felt around 90 degrees. The carpet and furniture had brown stains. The toilet had been left soiled and not flushed. Complimentary toiletries were partially missing.

I found the day clerk to be somewhat officious but the rest of the staff seemed nice enough. The continental breakfast was standard for Choice Hotels and nicely laid out.

“Not to bad!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 December 2010

We drove from south central Arkansas and we had absolutely no trouble finding it. It is a residential area but noted no problems and never once was worried or suspicious of anyone there. Check in was a breeze since we booked through hotels.com and the lady that checked us us in was very friendly. Did note that the lobby had a stale and moldy smell like that of an old building but was clean otherwise. Our room was very ok. I did however ask first thing if we could replace to comforters on both the queen size beds and in less than 5 minutes I hjad two fresh spreads. (they sem to have alot of o workers stay there and there was some oily spots on them) The beds were quite comfortable and we was surprised to have a 22inch high def tv in the room. (note: we ended ip staying another night at Diamond Jacks Casino and the tv there was to old standard but the room there was really nice) We had free wifi and really enjoyed using that but note that the psp game playing was out of the question due to no Ethernet conection. No Call of Duty game playing for my so. The nice lady at the front desk even came to our room trying to help us figure out what the problem might be so kudos for that.
The motel is right up against the freeway but for us this wasnt a problem since we take a fan for white noise effect.
Over all, I would stay again and would say it wasnt a bad place to stay for the price.

“DisComfort Inn - NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 July 2010

July 10th I had reservations for the “DisComfort Inn” in Bossier City, LA. To say that I was disappointed was an underestimate!! My husband and I check in at the front desk at about 8.35pm but NEVER went to our room. After dinner and a trip to a local Casino returned to the "Discomfort Inn" to find our room in total disarray. Honestly it looked as though someone may have tried to toss the room looking for something. I immediately went to the front desk where I found a young man to help me. He first offered me a Set of sheets to go make my bed. I needed more that that for $124.84 per night. He called the Hotel Manager and he walked the young man through the computer to return the charges to our credit card. That was fine however they did not have another room and would not fix that one so we were forced to leave at 3.30am in the morning and drive another 1 hour and 15min to locate another hotel that had available rooms in Texarkana, TX. After all was said and done my 2nd day of my vacation was ruined all because someone with the hotel did not do their job.

“Clean, Comfortable...but not quiet”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 June 2010

The lobby is very unappealing, not filthy... just not "pretty". Our room was clean, spacious, and well-kept. Close to the highway...major traffic. Noise isn't bad, but if you like the dead-quiet, this might not be the place for you.

“Nasty and Unsafe”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 June 2010

I was spending the night on business and my wife and children came to meet me and stay the night. The parking was terrible and the hotel is located in the "hood'. Had several items stolen out of the bed of my truck. Almost got mugged at the convience store nearby. There are no resturants at this exit. The floors in the room were nasty. The bathroom was small and the staff were not enthused at helping you. The management reaked of curry and body odor and need to learn english. The WIFI service was poor and the door appeared to have been kicked in by a SWAT team at one time and never repaired to standard. I would not stay here with my family and I would definately carry my firearm upon exiting my room.
