This hotel is a delight, the staff is outstanding and the rooms and other facilities are well designed. I stay here often for business, and the rooms are always well stocked with towels and extremely clean. The fitness center is amazingly beautiful as well. They have enough elevators so you're not standing around waiting on one elevator. They're constantly in motion. This crowne plaza is nicer then ones I've visited elsewhere. Not like a crowne plaza at all...

I decided to stay at the Crowne Plaza in Baton Rouge for a routine business meeting. The room was very comfortable but the kids that stayed next door kept me up for my last nite. But overall a great place to stay and a the staff was great. If you decide to stay at the Crown Plaza look for Whinfield Banks he will go the extra mile to take care of you.

Our room was on the 4th floor which was advertised as a "quiet floor." This was confirmed at check-in. On Sat. night, November 26, 2011, there was a Debutante Ball for 16 year old girs. These debutantes, along with their dates, kept us up all night long running up & down halls, hollering for each other, slamming doors, etc. We eventually called the front desk but nothing was done. Should have called the police since they were all under age. Never saw or heard any chaperones for these teenagers. What were the parents thinking... evidently they're anxious to become grandparents.

These rooms have no soundproofing. We stuffed a towel under the door & turned the fan of HVAC on attempting to block out the noise. We drove the 6 hours home next morning exhausted. The staff were extremely nice but this just didn't make up for being up all night.

Would also suggest you check the rates online before you call to make a reservation. Prices vary greatly.

Came in late night stopped because the Crowne Plaza has a good reputation. Big Surprise! Rate was quoted at 134.00 which seemed high but we were tired and decided a nice place would be worth it. Should have turned and ran when we saw the elevators (under construction) nasty smelly filthy carpets. Room seemed ok, decent linens but old fixtures. They had put us on the quiet floor - turned out to be any thing but. Hwy noises, AC turning on and off all night. Pretty awful experience. And then to cap it off they charged a hidden "surcharge" for parking, security, internet, and gym...
