Our room was large, and our reservation was honored. That's the end of the good news. The bad news; frayed, dirty carpets in both the public and the guest rooms. An air conditioner that sounded like a 747 coming in for a landing. Overall lack of real cleanliness - and a really icky smell that pervaded the room, which someone had tried to mask with what smelled like gallons of a Febreze knock-off. Seriously, the whole odor mix was enough to keep you awake. It borders a whole neighborbood of very down at heel public housing projects, and is convenient to nothing much, if you don't know your way around well enough to manage the side streets. The "breakfast" was powdered eggs, the cheapest possible supermarket pastries, instant grits, and very sketchy looking sausage. Spend a few extra bucks and get a better hotel, closer to what you're there for.
